Based on data from 115 cities across 23 indicators between 2010 and 2015, the report assesses overall performance and identifies key drivers of success, such as energy, industrial, and economic structures. Its main findings show that Chinese cities are generally becoming greener, with low-carbon pilot cities and larger metropolitan areas outperforming others, and that economic growth does not have to conflict with environmental improvements.
